  watchtower teaches jws that christ's presence began invisibly in 1914. they also teach that the start of christ's presence coincides with the start of the last days.

  whether you believe in the bible or not, watchtower claims these teachings come from the bible.

  so does the bible actually agree with them?

  maybe it is just me but when i read this paragraph all i could do is shake my head and wonder how i used to buy into this crap and how people don't wonder what the hell the writers are thinking'.

  "imagine what life would be like if god did not have love for mankind.

  we merely have to look at the awful history of this world with its human rulerships under its unloving and wrathful god, satan the devil.

  Life without God, 1) all killing would be wrong. 2) Scientific progress without offending

  people who live by the Holy Book. 3) No chosen people 4) No fables or myths handed down

  as truth. 5) No Adam and Eve and the snake. And No fear of being cremated by the God above.

  If God is showing love for mankind I hope I'm dead when he shows his anger.

  did you know that job's family celebrated birthdays?

  the word translated "his own day" at job 1:4 is the same word translated "day of his birth" in job 3:1. .

  seems deceptive, does it not, to change that translation.

  How many JW's drink "Bloody Mary's?

  That should be sacrilegious for any up standing JW. One source states it was named after

  the Queen Mary 1 of England for attempting to re-establish the Catholic Church of England.

  Just the name it self is devilish..

  it never ceases to amaze me that your personal friends have no clue what it is like to have been one.

  i was speaking with a friend the other day about having been a jw.

  she said, oh i have a dear friend of 30 years who is one and she is so nice!

  In my community most people know about JW's, and they never say anything

  positive about them. When you mention JW's there is always someone in their family

  that is a JW. The comments, wow they drink, what happen to 1975, they don't come

  around anymore since they became a JW. The folks here know about JW's.

  My sister Church, the minster gave a sermon on JW's.
